Her Wisdom for Employers | Back Your Women | Newcastle

How I work with employers

You employ capable regional women. And yet:

  • Silent overload
  • Stalled progression
  • Second-guessing on repeat
  • Slow fade

Behind all four is the same thing: capable women who are very good at their jobs, running a pattern they can't see from the inside and can't break alone. They won't ask for help, their best ideas stay in their heads, and your talent bench thins. Managers sense it and don't know what to do.

Women leaking their power or giving it away. You want women in their full power.

Her Wisdom gives them a guided space to connect with their truth, back themselves, be witnessed and choose what's next. You get engaged women who are collectively powerful.

For regional employers, HR leaders and women business owners who can see it happening and can't always name it.

Choose your way in

Three ways to back your women. Start where your women are.

Start with the option that fits your people and your timing.

Run it in house

Her Wisdom at Work

Her Wisdom, run in house for a group of your female talent.

Four months. Wake, Wild and Wise, delivered where they work, with a mentor outside your management chain. It ends with a Wise Witness Circle, where each woman shares her next move with your leaders.

Best for employers with a group of women ready to be backed.

Keep one woman

Mentor in Residence

Natalie on call for the women you want to reward and retain.

Regular, on demand mentoring for the women you can't afford to lose. She gets a trusted space outside your organisation. You get a woman who is clear on what's next and backing herself.

Best for strong performers, women in transition, and women returning or stepping into new roles and teams.

Bring her to the room

Workshops and speaking

  • Wake

What do I truly want? Step off autopilot and see where she's running on habit, and what she wants instead.

  • Wild

Who am I when I stop being who everyone expects? Name the pattern, drop what she's outgrown and set clear boundaries.

  • Wise

What's my next move? Turn insight into one visible step, before overthinking or waiting for permission takes over.

  • Design a workshop fit for your team
  • Ask Natalie to speak at your next event
  • Create a development program unlike any other

Best for leadership days, women's networks, conferences and team events.

Not sure which fits? We'll work it out together.

Run your own business?

The pattern doesn't stop at the top.

Running the business. Still waiting on yourself.

You hold the title, the team and the final say. Many women who run businesses are still waiting, second-guessing and carrying it all, with no one to ask. Her Wisdom is for you too.

Natalie specialises in working with female led businesses and the teams around them. She works with you as the leader, and with the women in your team, so the culture patterns get worked on at every level.

Who backs the woman who runs it?

How it works

You back the group. She backs herself.

Her Wisdom runs inside your organisation for a group of your female talent. You make the room. Each woman decides what she does with it.

1

Run in house, for your women

We run Her Wisdom for a small group of your women, on your terms and your timing. They move through Wake, Wild and Wise together, with a mentor outside your management chain.

We run a small number of in house groups a year.

2

Her choice

Each woman chooses to be there, and chooses what she works on next. A promotion, a pivot, a project or a passion.

3

Witnessed, with proof

The program ends with a Wise Witness Circle. Each woman shares her next move with your leaders: the role she's going for, the project she's backing, the idea she's taking forward.

You see her step up, and you see what changed.

Employer backed. Woman owned. Next move witnessed.

What this solves

You see the behaviour. We work on the pattern.

The same four patterns show up in her, in the team and in the culture. Her Wisdom works at all three.

Silent overload

Peacekeeping
  • In herShe says yes, absorbs the load and keeps everyone comfortable.
  • In the teamShe is the one who picks up what others drop. Her workload is invisible until she burns out or leaves.
  • In the cultureCoping gets rewarded. Capacity never gets asked about.
Shifts toShe says no, asks for what she needs and sets her own limits.

Stalled progression

Waiting
  • In herShe is waiting to be noticed, asked, or ready.
  • In the teamOthers get the stretch roles because they put their hand up first.
  • In the cultureYour pipeline favours the people who ask, not the people who are ready.
Shifts toShe names what she wants and goes for it, without waiting for permission.

Second-guessing on repeat

Outsourcing
  • In herShe checks with everyone else before she trusts her own call.
  • In the teamDecisions slow down. Her best ideas stay in her head.
  • In the cultureHer expertise is there, but her voice isn't in the room.
Shifts toShe trusts her judgement and says it first.

Slow fade

Drifting
  • In herShe is capable and competent but no longer switched on. She hasn't chosen this path in years.
  • In the teamEnergy drops. She does the job and stops reaching for more.
  • In the cultureShe leaves you, or stays and disengages.
Shifts toShe chooses what's next, in your organisation or beyond it.

Three levels. One pattern. Her Wisdom works on all of them. You'll see it in who puts their hand up, who speaks first and who gets named for what's next.

What changes

“What I'm starting to understand is that I can care about something without having to carry all of it.”

    What you would have seen

A capable woman absorbing the load, with no one asking what she wanted next.

    What you see now

A woman setting her own limits and naming what she is going after.

Who you'd be working with

Thirty years in people leadership. Facilitation, coaching, training and culture.

Thirty years in leadership, workforce development and people strategy. Workshop facilitation, leadership coaching, team training and workplace culture are where Natalie ignites change.

She was the first woman at an executive table in thirty years. Twelve men and her. She could run any room, and she still couldn't give herself permission to start her own business until 2020. She now runs two. Her Wisdom is the work she wishes someone had offered her, built for the capable women in your organisation who are doing exactly what she did.

What's your culture doing for your women?

A healthy workplace is one where capable women speak up, step up and stay because they want to. A short conversation with Natalie shows where your culture is helping and where it's getting in the way. The cost of doing nothing is too high.

Common questions

Before you get in touch.

Who is Her Wisdom for?

Capable women who are good at their jobs and ready to choose what's next, whether that's a promotion, a pivot, a project or a new direction. Your group can be women across levels, or women you've identified as ready to step up.

How are the women chosen?

You can invite women or open it to a group. Each woman decides whether she joins. No one is forced.

How long does it take, and how much time away from work?

Four months, with a mix of in person and online, group and individual. Natalie plans around your rhythms and your busiest periods.

What do we see, and what stays with her?

What a woman says in her sessions stays with her. You see her next move at the Wise Witness Circle, where she shares it with your leaders by choice, and you hear what's helping and what's in the way in a short post program debrief.

How is this different from leadership training or an employee assistance program?

Leadership training builds skills. An employee assistance program supports people in difficulty. Her Wisdom is mentoring for capable women who are ready to choose and take their next move. It's about momentum and direction.

What does it cost?

It depends on the option and the size of your group. Natalie will talk you through it in your first conversation, so you get a clear number that fits your people and your timing.

What if we want to look at the wider culture?

Natalie also co-leads People Powered, a people and culture consultancy. If you want to go beyond the women, the culture work can sit alongside.

Still have questions? Just ask.
